The Center for Childcare Workforce focuses on improving the quality of early care and education for all children by promoting policy, research and organizing that ensure
the early care and education workforce is well-educated, receives better
compensation and a voice in their workplace.
The newsletter from this organization focuses on a multitude of topics, but the one that caught my eye was, "Licensing for Quality Care". This research based paper discusses the who, what, when, where and how for child care regulations.
The Center for Childcare Workforce seems like a really great resource to have a a reference. I am interested in looking into the newsletter and researching the who, what, when, where and how for child care regulations. Thank you for sharing this information!
ReplyDeleteThis site is a wonderful site. I have spent time there in the past. Quality childcare and licensing are a major focus of our state. We are in the process of putting in to practice a 5 star system to assess quality care, which includes state standards in licensing (which are forever changing). They are working to incentivize non-licensed caregivers to purse a license. Do you have state focus in this area?
